Cookbook Club

What is a cookbook club and how does it work?

The premise of a cookbook club is simple. We select a book, we each choose one (or more) recipes from that book, then we gather to eat!

How do I join your cookbook club?

You can join my substack newsletter, which serves as a place for event announcements, as well as additional content such as cookbook deep dives, recipes, NYC dining recommendations, and more!

Each event will have varying capacities and entry costs but all will have spots allocated to each of the following:

(1) paid subscribers (early access)

(2) founding cookboook club members (if you attended one of the first 4 events)

(3) new and free subscribers (shared via substack newsletter and instagram)

This tiered system helps me to prioritize my existing community while also welcoming new members. Further, funds from paid subscriptions allow me to plan ahead, pay upfront costs and deposits on event spaces, and provide more value to the community as a whole. If you’re open to joining a cookbook club, hosting a cookbook club or connecting with people who want to join a cookbook club, join our cookbook club community on Discord.

How do I start a cookbook club? Do you have any best practices, tips and tricks for starting one?

Yes! Please see my post on How to Start a Cookbook Club.
